Im sure that people at pro-life rallies feel like you are a baby killer. Just as ridiculous as your premise.

Again, shame on Fox if true, but its eqully as bad as ABC who did a huge interview with Jussie when the story was about white racists, and then to bury the story when what really happened comes out.

As for the Smollett thing, a celebrity of some sort reports that he was attacked, it was reported, he told his story, it was reported, it might be a hate crime, it was reported, another story came out that it might be a hoax, it was reported, the CPD issued a statement that it wasn't being investigated as a hoax, it was reported, two people have been arrested, it was reported, maybe it's still a hoax, it was reported. It sounds like the media did their job which is reporting. Not getting the "tough day for the liberal media" slant but whatever.
I covered thos in another post, this was a huge story when the narrative was "this country sucks, Republicans suck, everyone is a racist."
ABC did a huge long form interview with Smollett and led with the story. Yesterday when the truth comes out--story is buried.
But hey, this is why the media is looked at like the joke it is now.

One kid did the Tomahawk chop (highschool kid) while Black men yelled racist comments and a grown man got up in their friends face.

Well, Tex covered it, too. "The media" covered every step of the story as it developed. ABC might have run an interview with a celebrity, and then not run as big a story when more de eloped, but did they pretend it didn’t happen or did they just not make it their lead story? In any case, that’s ABC news, it’s not "the media." Sounds to me like "the media" did just fine.

Ifmitsmlooked at as a joke, it might be because the President attacks them (often with outright lies) as "the enemy of the people."

Completely disagree. Huge story in most places when the narrative was one way. Not so much yesterday.

Edit: i dont think the media is the enemy of the state, but they are just another arm of the democratic party.

Saw this coming a mile away. The good news is that robot unemployment is down a bit.

I think you’re confusing social media with "the media." This wasn’t a huge story in most mainstream media outlets.

Maybe because there was a lot of other news yesterday? A budget deal, a national emergency, and a mass shooting might overshadow a possible celebrity scandal? I don't think it was ever a "huge" story in the msm.

That is one seriously misleading headline. The NYT should be ashamed of themselves.

What did the media get wrong? Answer, absolutely nothing. And no the media is factually 100 percent not the arm of either party. This is a nonsensical narrative pushed by the extreme right.

Yeah we can see how this non issue should be all over the front page over a mass shooting, the idiot declaring a national emergency and then saying it isn’t one. Again the media covered the story as if happened. Sorry is that ends your fictional narrative

lol talk about nonsense. Why can McDonalds pay $21 an hour in Finland with only a small price increase in their menu but here we can’t, because we are the only nation with a far right party that is stuck in 1920

What did the media get wrong? How about the fact that they WANTED to believe Smollett so bad that they took his story at face value. Just like they believe all women by default when they accuse someone of rape, especially if the accused is republican. If you ask how Smollett was able to thwart a hate attack with a sandwhich in one hand or how he was able to perform on a stage with a broken rib, you're being insensitive.

This isn't rational behavior. It's what you expect from a cult promoting a movement, or some fanatical right wing preacher. Identity politics in this country IS a religion, one that's supported by the state and the media.

They didn’t take his story at face value, and what they WANTED is your interpolation. They reported it as a story.
