The former DA in the Ahmaud Arbery case has been charged with violating her oath and obstruction. Excellent.

I remember being told Nancy Mace was a "reasonable" Republican, not one of the crazies. Welp.

Nancy Mace is on Fox News suggesting that people should get Covid rather than get vaccinated because natural immunity is preferable.
And it gets better as she went from Fox to CNN and changed tune because of course (watch the video in the tweet)

I hope she loses by the same number of people who died in her district from Covid.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/group-l...-vaccinations/
An organization that aims to elect Republican women to office is launching a new campaign aimed at encouraging unvaccinated Americans to get their shots, focusing on the efforts by GOP women to push vaccinations to protect against COVID-19.
...
A one-minute long digital ad from Winning for Women features Letlow and spotlights other GOP women lawmakers who received their COVID-19 vaccines and are encouraging those who have not yet received their shots to get inoculated. Among those highlighted in the ad are Senator Joni Ernst of Iowa and Representatives Nancy Mace of South Carolina, Ashley Hinson of Iowa and Young Kim of California.
"We have the answer," the ad says. "Get vaccinated."
And even if she only shared specific content that a specific audience would be more receptive to in each case, I hear here all the time... "Politicians politicking? Shocked, I tell ya!"

Fox News. Run by morons for the viewing of morons
https://thehill.com/homenews/media/5...e-than-cnndata
More Democrats are watching Fox News during prime time than CNN, according to data from Per Nielsen MRI Fusion. The data shows Fox News is watched by 29 percent of liberal prime-time viewers compared to CNN, which garners 25 percent of those viewers. Only MSNBC, which is watched by 46 percent of liberal viewers during prime time, has a larger liberal audience at that time than Fox News.
During the day, CNN has a larger liberal audience than Fox News — barely — with 29 percent of Democrats tuning into CNN and 28 percent tuning into Fox News. Fox News is known for its popularity among Republicans, with a majority of conservatives picking Fox News for both day and prime-time coverage. Fox News also beats both CNN and MSNBC for the largest number of independents watching the network during both the day and prime time. “So in a news monetization, as you mentioned, our share of audience is, you know, now 55 percent of cable news viewers, is incredibly impressive. It's a lot of hard work to build that share and maintain it,” Fox Corp. CEO Lachlan Murdoch said during an earnings call Wednesday.

Just given the sheer number of people that watch this news channel you've let everyone know you hate, you're almost certainly calling other forumers here morons. And potentially a more diverse group in terms of politics than you think or care to acknowledge.
It's odd to me that the Hill didn't post a link to the actual data, and that they seem to use Democrat and liberal interchangeably - which isn't necessarily accurate.

But at the end of the day even if there is directional accuracy here (which I think Nielsen has a long track record of credibility) then the point stands.

Illustrating the Wisdom of Universal Benefits
In this post, I am going to briefly dip into an inadequacy critique but only in order to make a broader point about why universal benefits make sense as a purely distributive matter. I think this will be a novel point to most people who follow these debates because the universality versus means-testing fight has mostly settled into a few familiar arguments that aren’t actually the best analysis on the subject.
