https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...son-approaches is titled "Vaccinated NBA staffers concerned about health risks of being exposed to unvaccinated players as season approaches." Just like MLB, the NBA cannot require players to be vaccinated. Golden State's Andrew Wiggins, who is unvaccinated, applied for a religious exemption and did not get one, so he cannot play at home due to San Francisco's law. The New York impact is that the same could happen to Kyrie Irving. Imagine coaches having to gameplan for home and road games differently because of a star who can only play away. With the Giants and Jets struggling, the possibility of an MLB work stoppage, and the possibility of Irving missing many games, it could be a bad sports winter for New York City.

It could be a nice home court advantage for the Knicks.

You're clearly not high on the 76ers... How do you see the Ben Simmons' saga playing out? I think they're going to finish a bit higher than this

I think Ben Simmons will leave Philly and be in another uniform.

How high do you think the 76ers will be? I think the Heat, Celtics, Hawks, and Knicks have the three to six spots locked up and Philly on the outside.

I'm a Knicks fan and don't think they have a top 6 spot locked up. Kemba is a good story, but he has a lot to prove to me after last year in Boston.

I'd probably replace the Knicks with the Sixers in your 3-6, and acknowledge that group is pretty fluid. Simmons is obviously a huge wildcard, but if they get a decent return on him I think they could finish as high as 3, but more likely 4-5.
