      In the old Baseball Encyclopedia, which separates hitters from pitchers, Henry Aaron was the first player listed. That was as it should be.

            He should have been required to change his name before being allowed to play in MLB. Ardsma would have been fine.

                  One the the Greatest on the field and off. I can't remember if I saw it live but know I watched it many time (including Coopertown) since. A great moment. RIP

                        Sobering reminder that the years are passing by much too quickly when your childhood heroes start dying off one after another.

                          RIP. One of the all time greats. Odd fact. If you deduct his 755 HRs Aaron would still have over 3,000 hits in his career.
