    I would be surprised if the draft was completely cancelled this year. I think that some of the players would have grounds for a grievance. It would be a really crappy thing to do to force players into another year of control, if they are eligible to get put into a 40 man spot.

    The major league portion of the Rule 5 draft will not take place this year as a result of the lockout, . It is the first time since 1920 that there will be no major league portion of the Rule 5 draft.

    The Triple-A portion of the Rule 5 draft will still take place as scheduled.

    They rated him 4th in the Category of being scaled due to Analytics. Not the 4th best in any Yankee category.. Not 5th sorry.

    Yea i would say AA and if any good will fast track him...Will be R5 next season...Doesn't blow you away but has a real good curve..You're right the Yanks have done well with smaller IFA signings.

    My guess is he'll be @ Somerset in 2022?

    Yanks sure do seem to like international signees of RH pitchers that are about 6'0' or 6'1" and about 170 lbs. (German, Gil, Medina, probably more)

    Our system is constantly getting raided, but BA and others always rates it mid ranged. It's a joke!

    Well BA has us giving up Jhony Brito and Shawn Semple...I could see that as well. Both are power arms who could stick in BP roles...So funny how our mid ranged reviewed systems gets raided every R5 draft.
