Did not like the Rizzo trade one bit. This is a lost season and he's only signed until the end of it. Alcantara is a big loss

The Toronto Blue Jays are in agreement on a deal to acquire right-hander Jose Berrios from the Minnesota Twins, sources tell ESPN. Twins will be getting back multiple prospects. Big get for the Blue Jays, who needed pitching badly and get the best arm.

SS/CF Austin Martin and RHP Simeon Woods-Richardson are headed back to the Twins for Jose Berrios, sources tell ESPN. Wow. That is a massive haul for a year and a half of Berrios.

He is cost controlled for what, this year and 3 more years?
I think you misunderstood. I was trying to say that there's going to be a few teams that like Voit enough to pick up the phone. I think he has more value than how the OP values him.

Seems like Berrios to the Jays is gonna happen. Jays will also be trying for that super cool second wild card spot.

They need to keep focusing on the offense. Forget pitching.

Boston 3rd in runs. Toronto 4th. Rays 5th. Yankees 25th.

Until you close that gap, the pitching is moot. Buxton me.
            Calmer than you are

That's more like how I view him. The point about his defense limitations is valid though.

A Buxton Judge Gallo outfield would be elite defensively…

So long as Judge doesn’t sneeze on them.

Yeah the team would be even more injury prone

To me, the two most impactful upgrades would be CF, because it has been a black hole all year, and replacing the 8th pen arm with a back end RP.

                          Buxton fits.

Toronto landing Berrios for two of their top prospects is as all-in move as it gets.

                            Love it.

eta: they’re not dealing from the top of the deck like that unless they believe they can catch Boston.

If that's your priority then Gardner is your man. He never gets hurt.
