We don't even know if we are getting hard tickets anymore!

My rep told me back in August probably no more hard tickets. Hal using covid as an excuse to save on the cost of printing tickets.

I am sure it has more to do with tracking your habits and getting meta-data from your phone than the cost of printing hard tickets... It's not that hard to load gift cards and coupons onto the Ballpark app...

The BS I remember everyone (Mets, Rangers, Yanks), was, “In order to minimize contact and prevent the spread of Covid, all tickets will be paperless.” And coupled with the fact that the first two months of the season were at limited capacity, and seats were not in ticketed locations until full capacity was permitted.

Now stub hub will send you a 1099 if you sell more than $600 worth of tickets on their platform in 2022... and they will withhold payment if you don't provide them your SSN...

I had gotten a phone call from my rep some time ago. He was trying to get me to upgrade to a 20-game plan, since one of my griefs with the club has been the dynamic pricing model used for non-invoiced playoff tickets.

I've told him pretty much what has been posted here before... They are making it very easy to simply not go.

Wondering what happens after today (assuming they start to cancel games). Will the Yankees give refunds or try to hold money AGAIN? I dropped my seats for 2022 and figured I’d buy a smaller plan but I’m in no rush. My gut feeling is we don’t have baseball in the Bronx until June and fans may not want to come back right away.

Since the Yankees open on the road it will be at least another week until home games could be canceled.

I don’t see games being played until June the earliest. Manfred has ruined baseball. I tried with a full season in 420a last year. Normally they sell easily. I couldn’t even give them away last year.

Last year people were more afraid due to Covid. That is a prime section. Probably will sell better this season.

i got an email about OD tickets & just checked ticketmaster. Wow - PLENTY of seats still available. Hundreds & hundreds in various section. Wonder if this is a sign that attendance will be down this year.
