    It gets even better...

Now stub hub will send you a 1099 if you sell more than $600 worth of tickets on their platform in 2022... and they will withhold payment if you don't provide them your SSN...

    teams want to track you.

they needed a good reason to get people off hard tickets, and found one.
Except if you went to the Mets box office they would sell you hard tickets.

    1. You can get a ticket for half-price later.
    2. You can get free food / beverage with your buy later.
    3. You don't need to worry about selling what games you can't use.
    4. You don't need to worry about going to a game in poor weather, not to mention waiting out a 2 hour rain delay.

Like many pro-sports teams in America... they're making a good case for you to simply stay home.

I’ll catch opening day on stubhub and pay a premium if the make a deep playoff run.

Lots of great Black Friday deals. Field level seats for $65 and grandstand for $25. Price includes two drinks either soft drinks, water or 12 oz domestic beers.
