Vice President Harris has contracted COVID, not a close contact to Biden.

Vice President Kamala Harris tested positive for COVID-19 via rapid and PCR tests on Tuesday, according to her office.

Harris, who received her second booster shot on April 1, doesn't have any symptoms.

I hope they know what they’re doing. The Eleventh Circuit has 6 Trump appointees out of 11 active judges, and SCOTUS won’t be any help. They run the risk of permanently diminishing the CDC's authority for a few extra weeks of a mandate.

But there’s a significant risk if they do appeal - losing in a higher court could set a binding precedent, permanently limiting the CDC's authority. A District Court's decision doesn’t do that. Since the ban was set to expire in a couple of weeks anyway, I suspect they won’t appeal.

correct. Only if the CDC says it is needed wish they won’t. I missed the second part of the headline. Deleted my post

I did everything right. Got him vaccinated. Made him wear masks when nobody else did. (Still do.) He still got it because of selfish jerks.

I cried after he told me this. I'm very, very bitter at the anti-vaxxers and mask refusers.

He was sick for less than two days, and COVID still messed him up. I'm raging pissed. And heartbroken.

What will this mean for his future? Nobody knows.

Delta is trash and so are anti-vaxxers.
Sincerely sorry to hear that about your son.

My grandson, Sean, contracted COVID 19 back in November, 2020 and experienced similar symptoms.

He was 19 at the time and a truly phenomenal athlete and an exceptional soccer player for Widener University.

He experienced shortness of breath, fatigue and a loss of smell when he initially contracted it in 2020.

Slowly, over about 6 months, the shortness of breath and fatigue cleared up and he went on to win all kinds of soccer awards and even broke Widener's record for goals scored.

He says he believes that remaining so active in sports (a heavy duty soccer schedule and training at Widener) after getting COVID 19 helped him a lot but it wasn't easy going through it.

Today, his shortness of breath and fatigue is gone, thank God, but to this day his loss of smell remains, a whole year-and-half later.

I truly really feel for your son. Loss of stamina for an athlete can really be devastating.

Hopefully, your son's stamina for sports will also clear up like my grandson's did.

Praying he'll recover soon and without any complications...

Ugh, I'm sorry - hope he fully recovers soon. 🫂 I was miserable for nearly two weeks with COVID but have no residual issues, and I would definitely take that over short illness with Long COVID. Ugh, poor kid.

    What could go wrong?

“Quest Diagnostics, one of the largest testing companies in the country, told ABC News that patients who are not on Medicare, Medicaid or a private health plan will now be charged $125 when using one of its…PCR tests.”

Deltacron. They test samples of sewers near train stops and subways and such for it in the waste and presence of it indicates it is here. If detected, cases generally follow within two weeks. This week 37% of all samples are ere positive so it is here already. Some were too quick to just move on and think it was over. And on April 18, the public transportation mask mandate ends.
