I think if Rick Scott is forcing schools to open, his grand kids should have to attend, and he should have to have dinner with them every night.

Well, he can't decide for his grandkids because he's not their parent, but i agree with the sentiment. Also this:

"'My daughters are going to be more focused on distance learning right now to make sure their children are safe,” Scott told Varney. 'Other parents are going to want to make sure their kids are in the classroom.'”

It's cool if other kids die, but not HIS grandkids...

          Deeply telling.

I'd like to know their parameters. California doesn't seem "controlled" to me.

California is a big state with ares where where it rampant and area where it's pretty well under control in others.

Looking at my county it's much worse in lower income areas and mostly under control in affluent communities. For example one of the wealthier cities in my county with ~80K residents has less then 2 cases per 1,000 residents while one of the lowest income cities with ~112K residents has more than 12 cases per 1,000 residents.

Proving it doesn't go away with warm weather since it's 95-F (or hotter) there, like 10 months out of the year.

It's not 95 for 10 months a year, but you're not too far off.

Down south, LA County and the OC are out of control. I live in San Bernardino County, and it’s getting bad here and in neighboring Riverside County as well.
