Just because bro con media won’t publish anything negative on Trump doesn’t make it news. And because Washington Post and NY Times publish items positive AND negative to both sides makes them far more reliable
Of course. Anyone with a different opinion on a singular topic is "trump flock" and kneels at the alter of "faux news."

The story in question is being spun as a a stimulus package that has harmed and neglected the individual and benefited the corporate class with the implication of cronyism. If we were in the same climate in 2008 the Post would have said the same of the Obama lifeline to the Auto & Banking industries which turned out to have save countless jobs and had almost all loans paid back in full plus a healthy profit on citibank equity
I don't have a WaPo subscription, so I cannot see the analysis. Would like to though, if anyone has a different source.

Out of curiousity, does the analysis count Paycheck Protection Program and distributed to employees as money going to big corporations or to individuals? I find this premise somewhat hard to believe frankly, unless large companies and small businesses are committing fraud against the government on a scale unheard of prior to now.

The snippets of the article seem pretty lazy. Is anyone actually surprised that shutting down the economy for the better part of a year has more economic impact than the lengthy but relatively small engagement in Afghanistan? Where is the proof supporting any of the statements this author puts forth? I'm not saying they don't exist - they very well may - but why is it not sourced?

It’s fair to say that not prioritizing the health aspect over the business all along was a poor allocation of resources. The stop/start approach executed in 50 different ways without ever having done true mass testing/tracing was never going to work.

But if PPP is what’s being questioned, we may never know. We do know that companies associated with the Kushners, Elaine Chao, Newsmax, Devin Nunes and Grover Norquist (lol) and others received loans (multiple sources at the time of the loans). Forbes reported in May that the SBA never gave lenders instruction on which businesses to prioritize so not only did underserved businesses not get prioritized, companies that these lenders already dealt with did.

None of that accounts for the part where Glenn Fine, responsible for much of the relief program’s oversight, was fired just a week after getting the position. So who got how much, and on what terms, may never truly be known.

That poor girl. She got it because her mom is lackey to a narcissistic tyrant. I really hope she's OK. Thankfully she's very young and likely has excellent health insurance. There are no guarantees, though. I just read of a super healthy 19 year old college student dying of it in North Carolina. He was a basketball player and long distance runner. That's just unfathomable.

This has the potential to save thousands of lives between now and widespread distribution of the vaccine (likely in the spring).
As I understand it, the particular combination of meds Trump got has been given to exactly one patient ever. It’s still not clear just how well it might have worked, because we’re not getting any honest reports. The patient wasn’t "sent home" in any ordinary sense, he was transferred from one medical facility to another one, smaller but fully-staffed. The response to steroids alone might have been enough to make him appear better in front of the cameras.

The Washington Post is owned by Jeff Bezos. It is more neocon than progressive. They are the ones that ran 16 negative news stories about Bernie in 16 hours during the democratic primary in 2016. They may not be Maoist, but they are definitely biased. I don't see how that is even a question.

Almost all of those are opinion pieces.

Owned of course by that infamously communist Jeff Bezos.

I guess that's just further proof people see what they want to see.

And yet they chose to publish all of them in quick succession. You don't see an agenda there?

Right. I don't discount the entire paper just because they let Hugh Hewitt write ridiculous opinion pieces.

They ran a similar number of Bernie positive articles over a short period a few days later when he won in Michigan. Both cases were a product of a current news cycle. Seems blown out of proportion to me.
