That kind of crap happens a lot around here in my very red part of the woods. We literally have parents who have tested positive still sending their kids to school and not informing the district. We have shop owners who test positive, but continue to work and keep their shops open until the County shuts them down.

This is what America has become, and not just over the last 9 months. It’s all about individual freedom, without any sense of a social contract among We The People. It’s the libertarian philosophy writ large. It’s very sad.

It's about selfishness, pure and simple.

And it’s funny because it’s a theoretically liberal policy (stay out of my business) that is actually tremendously illiberal (you need to die for my comfort, “freedom”, etc). Greater good is something people just don’t want to think about right now and it’s going to destroy western Democracy if we don’t get a handle on the pure selfishness of the radicalized right.

It's not just frightening. It's repulsive. Deplorable, even.

Libertarianism should die in a fire. Usually these same people claim to be prolife, though, so they're not even good at being libertarians.

When you lost the top ten things that have been detrimental if not deadly to the country, Libertarianism will be amongst them. It is one reason we weren’t prepared for Covid because we needed to eliminate “big bad government” for that tax cut for wall street

I remember when you used to call yourself a libertarian and I never once thought about throwing you in a fire.
You wanna know what? You gotta problem with Luis Cessa, you gotta problem with me. And I suggest you let that one marinate

Just look at so-called libertarian Rand Paul. What a clown show he has become in the last four years. He was bad beforehand, but he's the lowest of scum right now.

Oh, I thought about throwing her in a fire plenty of times. Not for being a libertarian, though. Just on general principle.

I've thought about throwing her in a lake to see if she floats. But the fire thing intrigues me.

So Cal ICU availability dropped to zero percent today.

I said libertarianism, not libertarians. And I was severely misguided.

Things that fall under the “that kinda sucks” category. Dr. Fauci said that for those immunity suppressed people like me, the vaccines likely won’t offer full protection that it will for all. He said still worth getting as it will provide some. I will get it but the reality is how I live likely won’t be changing

The goal is herd immunity.People need to think about more than just themselves. You are why everyone else needs to get it.
