Aren't the drugstore appointments only for people over 65?

You just have to be lucky. Two of my friends made appointments last week and got the shot 3 days later. I have been trying to get an earlier appointment but so far no luck. And now a lot of the places are only scheduling the second shot. The appointment process is ridiculous.

Only a few chains are doing it in NYC and only at a few locations. None from CVS. And the bad weather this week has delayed vaccine deliveries.

Not sure. If that is the case it explains why it was much easier for me to schedule through them than the other vaccine sites.

Or maybe this was just very good luck.
oh gotcha...glad they were able to get one. That is how my chiropractor got one -- he is in Morris County and came to one in Middlesex County and it seems a bit counterproductive to think about hanging around a hospital lobby would be a good idea these days but it works I guess for some...

my sister luckily found a number to call yesterday for a place opening affiliated with Princeton's hospital...after hours on the phone yesterday, I was able to get my mom an appointment for Tuesday thankfully. Her new bed we ordered her for V-DAy is coming Tuesday too so hopefully Wednesday she will be a lot less stressed..she feels like she won the lottery and I get it...

Unfortunately, too many misguided Americans have believed their lies and refuse to hold them accountable for their incompetence and corrupt-driven management of this health crisis.

One of my closest friends was rushed to the hospital via ER Saturday. Oxygen level at 67 and immediately placed on ventilator. Wife and two children being tested today with symptoms. Friend not doing well.

                      It's so staggering and sad.

I think the saddest part is how polarized we are right now, I don't know how much better we would have done if Hillary was President. Yes, she'd say all the right things, listen to experts, not silence the scientists, etc - but every Republican would still do the opposite just because of their hatred for her. Republican governors would not close their states down last spring; they'd still say "we aren't letting the feds tell us what to do! Hillary can't tell me to wear a mask!" It's so pathetic but this outcome might have been inevitable - but don't take this as letting Trump off the hook. He's still a monster.

They wouldn't have listened, but there would have been a coordinated federal response, and that in itself would've made a huge difference. A week or two ago, I saw an article about how hundreds of thousands could've been saved if Drumpf hadn't actively worked to convince people there was nothing to fear. If he'd done absolutely nothing, it would've been better than the active harm he caused by lying about its not being a big deal. If he'd just told people to wear their goddamn masks, hundreds of thousands would be alive. He managed to do worse than nothing: His behavior actively led to more deaths.

Connecticut has changed how they will administer the vaccines. Basically done now she key by age group. March 1 age 55-64. March 22 age 45-54 (me), April 12 ages 35-44 and May 3 ages 16-34.

Additionally teachers and educators will have clinics to themselves in March
