      You guys, I think all it's going to take is for one airline to require all passengers to be vaccinated for the rest to fall in line.

          I don't expect that to happen. As long as they follow cdc recommendations, liability is non-existent. They need to recover and that requires flying as many people as they can. It would be bad business.

            Yeah, I think it’s more likely that, as long as one airline does not require vaccinations, none of the others will.

              I'm playing the free market game here. Work with me...Absent CDC recommendations, who is getting on a packed flight full of people when they don't have the slightest iota the rest of the flight have been vaccinated?

                      I am fully prepared for the situation to improve somewhat through the summer but unless a miracle happens and the trumpster cult gets their vaccines, I do not see the virus level dropping to a level of safety much less herd immunity. So whatever comfort level you have now (for me I basically only leave the house to see people if it is outside and small groups which living here means May until October), as well as for takeout and such. I do also go out for lengthy solo drives. It really is a shame a big segment of people do not give a crap about anyone but themselves.

                          They're claiming it's privacy. It's in the article. Maybe they're lying, but that's what they're saying: It's a privacy violation. My point was that they care about privacy only when it suits them, and they want to be selfish and not protect others. Same with small government. They love big government when it's the military, or just small enough to be up in every uterus.

                                I'm not. There's no reason to shame anyone. The vaccine isn't mandatory.

                                However, I'm all about not letting anyone past the door of the restaurant, aircraft, concert hall, stadium, theater, cruise ship, etc., unless they can show proof of vaccination. Let 'em make their choice, but let 'em stay home. No shame; just isolation.
