It's not worth the risk of losing her because the company is based up in north Jersey and there's only three nurses in my area that rotate seeing me in between their other full time jobs, so scheduling is already difficult. She at least follows all the COVID protocols while working so that's not an issue.

Ditto. Anti-vaxers have no business being RNs. They're disease vectors for diseases that could kill people like Ryan.

While anti-vaxxers certainly suck, she should keep it to herself. Sharing that garbage with patients while working as a medical professional should be malpractice.

the #1 post on @Facebook about vaccines today is Tucker Carlson suggesting they don't work.
This is so much more problematic than the FDA pausing JnJ and a much stronger driver of vaccine resistance.

I'd bet good money the trust fund baby has been vaccinated for a couple of months.

Twitter needs to take that down. Don't let them lie.

Map of vaccine hesitancy rates. You can scroll in on your county. Herd immunity could be rough, especially in some areas where vaccine hesitancy in running over 20% or 30%. Don't like in Wyoming if you're looking for herd immunity anytime soon.

I live in possibly the most conservative county in New Jersey, and we're at 13% which is reassuring.

A good friend of mine down in Florida told me yesterday he has no plans to get vaccinated. I don’t quite know how to approach this situation.

Second Moderna shot resulted in one bad day of chills and a slight fever, plus severe dehydration. Back to normal now.

Lots of ways to approach the situation but none of them will change anyone's mind, so why bother? Tell you what though...........if it mutates into a strain that kills 50% of those who get it you'll see minds changing real fast. Just hope the vaccine protects against such a deadly mutation.

I'm sorry. I know how you feel. All you can do is present facts, show your concern. I've learned that gives you a better chance at convincing than does lashing out. It's tough.

I see the guy a couple times a year. My guess is the people in his life help to define his outlook on things.

”What the hell would I get vaccinated for when all the people I spend time with are so strongly against it?”
