What's a "large crowd"?

I haven't worn a mask when out on an evening walk around the neighborhood. If someone else is, we make sure to pass on opposite sides of the street. At the same time, I always wear a mask when walking around Main Street.

I believe the rule was mask or six feet distance. I visited friends outside last summer and sat more than 6 feet apart and no mask

So this private school in (where else?) Florida has said it won't employ any teacher who gets vaccinated.

It's also absurd on its face, as they also said they “cannot allow recently vaccinated people near students.” A substantial percentage of the parents are probably vaccinated, I wonder if the parents go near their children.

It's a little like watching de-evolution in action.

That is pretty cool and exactly the kind of promos that need we need to get rolling. Set up a vaccine booth at disney world with a tacky disney souvenir, give bobbleheads to people that get vaccinated at ballgames, etc. WV is giving $100 savings bonds to people 16-35 since that has been a difficult group for them to target. Time to get creative.

Here's the highest rated "news" host on TV encouraging people to try to have the state seize the kids of people who disagree with you politically. There is no universe where this ends well.

Here's also where I remind you that Fox News' own lawyers argued in court that nobody should take what Tucker says serious.

Why do we need promos and bribes? I'd much rather see people gain an education and react like adults. We shouldn't need to bribe people to take a life-saving measure. I don't think they gave people savings bonds to get the polio vaccine when it rolled out in the 50s.

Come to McDonald's, where we'll throw in a free order of fries if you're wearing a seat belt! Got a kid in a car seat? We'll also toss in a free drink!

So save some money and see fewer people get vaccinated. I have been holed up in my room for 15 months now and most of the last five years. End this pandemic tomorrow and I will gladly pay double in taxes the rest of my life

One of my issues throughout this last year has been the complete absence of Exit Criteria. Remember "Two weeks to flatten the curve!"? We're making things up as we go. If they had said up front that these restrictions (mask wear, distancing, restaurant closures, etc.) would be in place until various criteria were achieved, like the quantity of new cases falling below X, or hospitalizations below Y, or deaths below Z, then the people would understand the end game, and could see whether progress was being made. But we have failed to EVER define what the desired end state is. And that has contributed mightily to quarantine fatigue. That fatigue is also likely a contributor to vaccine hesitancy. Too many people are saying "Why should I get the vaccine when nothing is going to change?"

"Low case incidence" and "continued improvements" are not defined goals.

This is the new CDC guidelines. So the only difference between fully vaccinated and unvaccinated people are:

1. You don't need to wear a mask in outdoor gatherings with people.
2. You don't need to wear a mask in outdoor restaurants, but of course obviously an unvaccinated person can't wear a mask through the whole meal anyway.

Need to do a better job incentivizing vaccinations.

Yesterday my friend's teenage kids had a stranger (adult) outside of their school gates yell at them repeatedly to take their masks off. No doubt that creep watches that pig's show.

One of her kids replied, "Sorry, we're not Republicans."
