Neither quarantined upon return.

And yet I'm being given guilt from her and my mom for not going to the party this weekend. Yeah my wife and I are vaccinated, but the kids aren't. My SIL and niece tested positive after having a friend over for outdoor playdate a few weeks ago. This is after my sister-in-law's 2 week post-vaccine date too.
    Why aren't they vaccinated yet?

This stuff is so difficult. (Yes.) It shouldn't be. It should be easy because people should be less wilfully ignorant and care more about others. I hate this.

She said it's still too tough in MA to get one - which I don't believe. Her and her husband had it back in November so I guess they feel immune even though I thought that only lasted 90 days.

They don't know how long it lasts. They know it does lasts at least 90 days so that is where that number comes from. There are studies showing it lasting as much as 8 months but nothing conclusive. There is still so much to learn.

Anyone over 16 can easily get an appointment in MA now. They are sadly misinformed. I am getting my 2nd Moderna on Thursday.

Yeah, I call B.S. on that one too. My son and his wife, my other son and his girlfriend, and my ex-wife all live in Boston and have all been fully vaccinated. They range in age from 27 to, well, I'm not going to give my ex-wife's age but she's almost as old as me (the poor thing)
You wanna know what? You gotta problem with Luis Cessa, you gotta problem with me. And I suggest you let that one marinate

Pfizer expects to apply to the Food and Drug Administration in September for emergency authorization to administer its coronavirus vaccine to children between the ages of 2 and 11, the company told Wall Street analysts and reporters on Tuesday during its quarterly earnings call.

Hopefully the Biden admin gets them to move that up to August so more can be vaccinated before Labor Day.

That's awesome news, but I wish it were just a bit sooner. My parents want to take my kids on a trip to see family in the fall, but I won't let them get on a plane without their COVID vaccines. (And flu vaccines that might not be available that soon, now that I think of it.) Then I'll be the asshole (what's new yeah yeah), but that's just how it is. They can go next year if they can't go this one.

I'll give my granddaughter (and her parents) a pat on the back. She was part of that clinical trial.

Cuomo says vaccinations will be offered at Mets and Yankees games, and free tickets will be given for people who get the shot. "We will set up a facility as you are going in... you're going to the game anyway. Stop and get a vaccine."
                      .....

The vaccine being administered at Mets and Yankees games will be the one-shot from J&J
                      Awesome.

                          Definitely. They rock!

My kids would've been in it if we had had a nearby location.

CVS Health announced Wednesday it will begin accepting walk-in appointments for COVID-19 vaccination shots at stores across the country, including 389 locations in Massachusetts.

In a press release, the firm said people can get vaccination shots by simply showing up at a participating location, and added that same-day scheduling is also available at CVS.com.

Looking for a convenient way to get a coronavirus vaccine? Walmart said Tuesday that its 48 pharmacies in Massachusetts will now be offering walk-in COVID vaccination appointments.

Most of my (MA) family had their covid vaccine administer at the Gillette Stadium mega center at Foxboro.

in Connecticut, 80% aged 45 and older have been fully vaccinated and 71% over the age of 18. Best in country. This is what happens when you live in a state that doesn’t think government is the problem
