Finally going to get my second shot today. I feel like I'm the last person on the planet to get vaccinated (yes, I know that's not true).

12-15 year olds will potentially be able to be vaccinated by Thursday May 13 in AZ.

Some anti-vaxxers believe a conspiracy that the vaccinated will “shed” harmful proteins onto the unvaccinated This conspiracy is leading some anti-vaxxers to protect themselves from the vaccinated by wearing a mask and social distancing. You can't make this up.

Sherri Tenpenny, an anti-vaxxer who was found to be key in spreading COVID-19 conspiracy theories, suggested on a recent anti-vax livestream that you may have to “stay away from somebody who's had these shots…forever.”
Don't threaten me with a good time, Sherri.

Will the tracking devices be shed also?

in Connecticut, 80% aged 45 and older have been fully vaccinated and 71% over the age of 18. Best in country. This is what happens when you live in a state that doesn’t think government is the problem
            Nice.

Had my 2nd shot on Tuesday, definitely felt the effects on Wednesday. I have never had the flu so I don't know what that feels like to compare. Yesterday my entire body felt sore like I had worked out every muscle in my body harder than I ever have before. Even my teeth/gums were sore! That achy feeling sucked but the thing that really took me out was the crushing headache. I don't normally get headaches so I had a hard time dealing with that.

Today I woke up and I felt great so it only lasted about 24 hours for me. Looking forward to my vaxxed life!

New study: COVID virus particles found in the penis tissue of men who'd had COVID 6-8 months earlier (both severe & mild COVID). Additionally, the team found endothelial (blood vessel) dysfunction, causing severe erectile dysfunction. https://wjmh.org/DOIx.php?id=10.5534/wjmh.210055 #LongCOVID 1/
In another study, total sperm count was lower in COVID patients at a 3 month followup: https://wjmh.org/pdf/10.5534/wjmh.200192 #LongCOVID 2/
Our last preprint found 15% of men reported sexual dysfunction, and others reported pain and decrease in genital size
This needs to be blasted from the rooftops. Maybe it will grab evangelical men's attention.

Per CDC. If fully vaccinated you don’t need a mask in or outside, except in crowds

While I think this is the right thing based on the science, it seems like it is going to be a mess for businesses since there is no way to know who is vaccinated and who is not. Or maybe it's time to stop caring? It's frustrating.

Businesses can still regulate things however they want. Consumers can choose accordingly. Shoppers that want to shop with a mask and be around other people with masks, and people who are sick of it and want to live their lives.
                        Calmer than you are

I understand all of that but from the perspective of someone running a business, it's a bit more complicated. How to best serve your clients while also best protecting your staff is not always the same.

Yeah, folks who denied covid and/or refuse to get vaccinated are going to take this as the perfect chance to stop wearing masks and there's nothing business owners can really do. There's gonna be so many videos of people freaking out in stores now. This is why we need vaccine passports.

That's why maybe it's just time to stop caring. I feel bad for the small percentage of people that can't get vaccinated and children that are not eligible yet but the people that are putting them at risk are not the people that are vaccinated and half the country has dropped their mask mandates anyway. Like I said, it's just frustrating. We should counting down to herd immunity right now but instead here we are. Too many people unvaccinated and the virus with too many hosts that could be allowing it to mutate.

Exactly. And what is worse people now are being harassed for wearing masks. Due to my situation I have to look at it as if I am not vaccinated (even though it has been 3 weeks since my second shot).
