Well, I'm certainly not going to go about re-re-re-re-explaining it now. Been down that road too many times. Back to Covid.

        Not enough "re" prefixes.

No BS, Louis Gohmert said exactly this to a youth summit in Texas

This is reported absolutely seriously, without irony. Without awareness of irony, anyway.

Caleb Wallace, the San Angelo man whose life came to define the revolt against government overreach in Covid-19 restrictions, died today of Covid-19. He had been at Shannon Medical Center since July 30.

According to his wife, Jessica, who was interviewed by the New York Times, when Caleb came down with Covid-19, he initially self-medicated with copious doses of Vitamin D, C, aspirin, and Zinc. He also took ivermectin, a drug used to treat infections in the body caused by parasites, such head lice and scabies. This drug has been recently touted as an alternative for treating Covid-19. Ivermectin is derided by those on the Left and most medical professionals as “horse paste,” as the animal form of the drug can be purchased at feed supply stores. Jessica, in her interview with the Times, was not clear if Caleb had been prescribed ivermectin for humans or had taken the veterinarian version…

Many have criticized Wallace for his dogged pursuit for the truth during an era of civil unrest, wavering medical experts, changing scientific conditions, political censorship, uneven enforcement of mitigation rules, and a November presidential election many still suspect was not honest. In general he was just a blue collar guy who sold welding equipment who didn’t trust the government or experts because he sensed he didn’t have the freedom to weigh and consider in the public square the information that he held in suspicion. He reacted to that by being vocal and organizing public protests. It was his way of seeking the truth.

At the same time, his death reveals that Covid-19 is deadly.

Mr. Anti-Vax, Mark Bernier, bites it, too. I read “conservative Florida talk show host dies of Covid” and thought it was about Dick Farrel, but turned out to be a different guy.
So much of the worst things about Florida are suddenly making perfect sense. Which probably means there’s a couple dozen more anti-vax talk show hosts to go.

For years and years the most dangerous job in America was in the logging industry but apparently now the most dangerous job in the country is right-wing radio host.

                          What a fool.

The thing is, I doubt few who agreed with this guy before his death have suddenly seen the light. He got up at town meetings ranting about freedom and how masks violate civil liberties and all this nonsense.

I was at an Eagles concert this weekend, which required proof of vaccination from attendees.

Don Henley spoke a bit about it from stage and his key comment was “with freedom comes responsibility.”

Very simple yet impactful statement. I don’t know why the sane leaders of our government cannot reframe all of this more effectively.

you are free to drive your car. You are not free to drive it while drunk or at excessive speeds or without your headlights on at night.

people like this guy Wallace will continue to live and die like fools, but if there is just 10% of the population that will listen, it would likely slow this thing down dramatically.

Good for Don Henley and I wish Eric Clapton would listen to him instead of writing yet another anti-vax song and vowing not to play any venue with a mandate.

I’ve started changing the station when any Eric Clapton songs come on.
