Republican states are instituting care-rationing (aka death panels) due to unvaccinated people.

Idaho public health leaders announced Tuesday that they activated “crisis standards of care” allowing health care rationing for the state's northern hospitals because there are more coronavirus patients than the institutions can handle.

In Mississippi, at least eight pregnant women died of COVID-19 over the past four weeks. Dr. Dobbs says all eight were unvaccinated. Their babies survived after being delivered prematurely by c-section before their mothers' deaths.
I just cannot wrap my brain around this. Something so tragic and so preventable.

At least eight Tennessee public school employees – three elementary school teachers, one pre-k assistant, a cafeteria worker, a bus driver and two high school teachers – have died since the school year began after contracting COVID-19. The total is an imperfect tally of a grim statistic that no one government agency or private entity is currently monitoring in a systematic way.

School's been open less than a month. The Governor issued an executive order banning universal masking. The state is 44th in vaccination rate in the country. This is profoundly sad and at the same time enraging. I feel bad that these people died, but I feel worse that they spread Covid to kids who can't be vaccinated."Our work continues, the fight goes on, and the big dreams never die." -- Elizabeth Warren

Pregnancy is so hard on the body already. Pregnant folks have much worse outcomes with Covid-19 because your immune system is already weakened, and your body is already so stressed and strained. Yet vaccines could've saved most if not all of them. It hurts to think about.

Im sure the politicians from Florida and Texas will have mature responses.
It's always fun with these guys to see when “law and order” does and doesn’t apply and to whom.
