Down is up, strikeouts are good for offenses, stringing together consecutive hits is/are frowned upon, and Daniel Jones shows just enough promise to keep the Giants from doing the right thing.
The US is great if you are in the top 1%. The rest can just hope to break even

Idaho is cool with rationing care, aka death panels. It's all good, though, because it's run by the GOP and there's no single-payer healthcare.

If a Canadian follows US media closely and brings information and opinion from that media here, how does that make it misinformation any more than if it was an American doing it?

The point in your statements eludes me completely.

The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund said in a recent midyear report that Covid-19 is the leading cause of death for officers nationwide. According to the nonprofit, from Jan. 1 to June 30, 71 officers died of Covid-related causes, more than firearm and traffic-related incidents combined. The number has continued climbing since the report was released, with 133 officers having died of Covid to date this year, the nonprofit said.

Last year, more law enforcement officers died of Covid-19 than any other cause, according to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund...

At a coronavirus briefing Monday, New Jersey State Police Superintendent Col. Patrick Callahan said he believed officers' reluctance to get vaccinated had contributed to the apparent Covid-19 related deaths last week of 22 law enforcements officers nationwide.

Last week, firefighters and police officers from across New Jersey attended a protest against vaccine mandates in Newark, the state's largest city. Newark Mayor Ras Baraka's vaccine requirement for city workers has been challenged in court by a number of unions representing police officers and firefighters.

"It just really makes me feel really disappointed that they see so many of their brothers and sisters in blue die from this virus and they have the opportunity to take a stand for them and to live for them in their honor or just for themselves, for their families, but won't," Tokley said.

If they just complied with what they're asked to do, everything would turn out differently.

Three female tourists from Texas were arrested Thursday at 5 p.m. for allegedly attacking a hostess at Carmine’s restaurant on 91st and Broadway, because she asked to see their vaccination cards, an NYPD spokesperson told WSR.

Enforcement of New York City’s mandate requiring proof of vaccination for inside dining began on Monday, September 13. The onus now is on restaurants, which face stiff fines if the rule is disregarded.

The suspects, who were charged with one count each of misdemeanor assault and criminal mischief, include a mother and daughter from Humble, Texas, and a woman with them from Houston. They are: Kaeita Nkeenge Rankin, 44; Tyonnie Keshay Rankin, 21, and Sally Rechelle Lewis, 49. They were issued Desk Appearance Tickets (DATs), and told to return to court on October 5.

Go back to Texas and they will be free to spread as much Covid around as they want

Not sure how you square "to protect and serve" with not protecting yourself from Covid

Looks like they have to return on October 5th. Hitting them in the wallet having to pay for another round trip airfare.

It would be nice if the "my body, my choice" anti-vax crowd actually had some consequences for their actions

I suspect if they decide not to return for their court appearance and NY issues a warrant that Texas would just ignore it
You wanna know what? You gotta problem with Luis Cessa, you gotta problem with me. And I suggest you let that one marinate

Let's hope bail was substantial and will be forfeited if they don't show.
Yes I know this at odds with my stance that cash bail system should be revpealed.

"Thus," Troup went on, "we provided a religious attestation form for those individuals requesting a religious exemption," he said. The form includes a list of 30 commonly used medicines that "fall into the same category as the COVID-19 vaccine in their use of fetal cell lines," Conway Regional said.

The list includes Tylenol, Pepto Bismol, aspirin, Tums, Lipitor, Senokot, Motrin, ibuprofen, Maalox, Ex-Lax, Benadryl, Sudafed, albuterol, Preparation H, MMR vaccine, Claritin, Zoloft, Prilosec OTC, and azithromycin.
Interesting approach to Religious Exemption requests from an Arkansas Hospital System.

Oh and the article didn't mention it but I read elewhere that Ivermectin and Remsvidir were also on the list, found that quite karmic.

There was no waiting in jail for a judge. There was no arraignment. There was no bail. They were given desk appearance tickets.

Bummer. My guess is they will all be in Texas on their NY court date.
