I don't know but I'll venture a guess they are under the age of 65.

Near as I can tell there have been 3 players hospitalized this year at some point -

Ryquell Armstead (August 2020) - unvaccinated (prior to vaccine release to public) - will missed the entire year 2020 year with severe upper respiratory complications from COVID

Dakota Dozier (November) - fully vaccinated - admitted for breathing difficulty for COIVD/Pnuemonia type symptoms - released shortly after

Dion Dawkins (July) - partially vaxed got COVID just after 2nd shot but before 2 week period up. Hospitalized but now recovered.

          the rest is just details.

So sounds like vaccines are doing their job.

The NFL has had their highest number of positive covid tests since covid began. Most of these cases are players who have been vaccinated.
94% of NFL players are vaccinated, so if there are lot of cases then the vaccinated players will account for most of them. If there are little or no hospitalizations then the vaccine would seem to be doing its job.

Yes. I also updated Ryquell Armstead info as he got COVID prior to their being a vaccine available and missed the entire 2020 season with COVID complications.

                  I wonder.

People over the age of 65 have the highest vaccination rate. Yet they are the most likely to be hospitalized and/or die if they become infected.

For some reason the right considers a vaccinated person testing positive with no or little symptoms the exact same as an unvaccinated person testing positive who died or in the hospital on a ventilator. To make things simpler for them maybe time to focus on deaths and hospitalizations instead of cases

I would argue that we should have been doing that ever since the vaccines came out. Not just for "them" but for everybody's sake.

Big sexy scary graphics of rising Covid cases on the news with no other context isn't doing this country's mental health any good.

Maybe you should look at the data of hospitalization and death rates of over 65 broken out by vaccinated and unvaccinated. Spoiler alert results are exactly what science would predict in this situation.

Trump White House made 'deliberate efforts' to undermine Covid response, report says

The White House repeatedly overruled public health and testing guidance from the nation’s top infectious disease experts and silenced officials, the report found.
