Are we sure this is what the intended trade was? Seems odd…

Yup. Seems wasteful to sit on them.. I put my players out on the open market and no one took advantage, now I am actively shopping them with 24hrs to the deadline.

This is a 5 for 1 trade… I don’t think we should veto anything but this seems extremely lopsided.

It further proves that the trading deadline needs to be at least Aug 1 - IMO. This is what happens otherwise. It kills the league.

I apologize if this trade is rubbing people the wrong way. I don't mean to undermine any of the rules or "kill" the league I've enjoyed, I try to be respectful and play very actively all year. I just missed the playoffs by a nose and I'm trying to make any moves I can to set myself up within the guidelines of the league. I offered these players out to anyone/everyone who would like to trade and received underwhelming response. I fail to see how trading for keepers impacts 'the league' negatively when these players re-enter the draft pool in 3 weeks regardless. If we threw in a few extra players that I planned to dump in 4 days when the season ends, that would make more sense? Know what I mean?
In my very humble opinion, people selling off stars in May and creating a superteam that the rest of the teams have to deal with for the remaining 2/3 of the season is more of a league killer.

Not tryin' to ruffle any feathers.
            Sincerely,
            Shenanigans

It is not directed to you at all, Shenanigans. I just think the deadline should not be this late...it promotes player dumping. I just think it should August 1. I wish I were in your shoes hoping for the playoffs.

It’s beyond me why the teams that are out of it aren’t begging for trades right now.

Yeah I think it’s fine. Just on first view it seemed like a lot going one way and not much going the other but as I’ve said owners are totally free to do what they want and I assume they know what they’re doing. All good with me.
