Minor League Draft

I don’t know how to make a poll or honestly if anyone is paying enough attention anymore but I think it would be smart to have the minor league/first year player draft before the major league draft next year.

Every season the minor league draft trails at least into week one and maybe into week 2 this past year? This makes it a huge pain in the butt for player adds during that period.

If the minor league draft was started shortly after all managers were set it could take a couple weeks and not be in the way. It would also allow the major league draft to be close to the start of the season which is preferable without causing the previously discussed issues.

Every other league I've been in has had it after the ML draft. I have suggested before using texting to move the draft along... many people can't access the forum at work, but have their phones with them all the time. Text your pick to the group text, the commissioner adds them to the roster, next person goes. I have had mL drafts finish in two days. But if people want to stubbornly stick to the forum here then it will drag on no matter when it occurs.
