Sir Charles argues that FDU's 16 over 1 scalp over Purdue is even bigger than UMBC over Virginia in 2018.

FDU beat a team that went into the game scared, chicken even.

Last year Perdue lost to the #15 seed. This year they lose to the #16 seed. Pretty incredible when you think about it.

rather intriguing that Princeton wins again.

I think the first time is the most astonishing...but certainly both are shockers.

Kind of odd that the 3 biggest "Cinderellas" of the last two tournaments - St. Peter's making Elite 8 last year, FDU knocking off Purdue this year, Princeton making the Sweet 16 this year - are all from New Jersey.
I hid in the clouded wrath of the crowd, when they said "sit down" I stood up.

                It's a Cinderella State.

There will be a new NCAA Men's Division I Basketball National Champion.

#1 seed in the West Region and defending National Champion Kansas Jayhawks fell at the second hurdle to the #8 seed Arkansas Razorbacks by a point, 72-71.

Pete Carril must be smiling down from heaven as the Princeton Tigers made the Sweet 16 for the first time in the Field-of-64 era and their first overall since 1967.

Cappy Cappon and Butch van Breda Kolff probably happy as well.

The Florida Atlantic Owls march on to the Elite Eight. Gonzaga outlasts UCLA very late.

Kansas State and UConn complete the Saturday portion of the Elite Eight.

Down goes Bama! San Diego State make their first Elite Eight appearance ever.

And Miami (FL) is up double digits on Houston.

Will all four #1 seeds be bounced out before the Elite Eight?!
