Warren, Sauer, Messinger (???) and TBD (who seems as if he is listed every day for Tampa) are tonight's starters.
I have a very high interest in Sauer. He has had some really amazing starts over the years. Injuries have really set him back, and losing that year to COVID also hurt. But I think he has the goods.
Just not sure he will get a chance around here, as he probably loses out in a numbers games to other guys.

Does Warren need to be added to the 40 man this off season?
At least 10 guys will be exposed and need to be protected or i fear a big group will will be taken. Some like Serna and Familia at lower levels. Upper guys like Navaez.and Ramirez are sure targets as catchers. Chapparo, Beeter, Barcley. Sauer are others who could use protection but all won't fit. I wish Cashman moved a few for IFA money or comp picks but it didn't happen. Barcley was drawing a lot attention at the TDl . I'm sure he could have gotten a return.
Fringe guys I guess would be Dunham, Spence, Rodreguez, Bastida and Coleman. Coleman because of injury..Last edited by Yankyfan; 09-08-23, 01:42 PM.

I'd love to have a good defender @ 3B who hits lefty."Somebody once asked me if I ever went up to the plate trying to hit a home run. I said, 'Sure, every time.'" -- Mickey Mantle
