    Interesting. Looks like he played in KBO for most of 2021, came back over stateside and played for the Rays for a few months. Also looks like he can play some 1B. Hard to get excited about his mL AAA numbers (PCL) but looks like he could have enough bat for BUC. Can't find much on his defense.

    I was so ready to non-tender Sanchez and see if the Yankees scouting and analytics could turn up a strong defense-first catcher that might offer at least mediocre offense. I like these last two mL signings for depth and maybe more.

      From what i've read he was drafted more for the bat but has progressed as a receiver. He has a good arm but throws from a low arm slot. Most reports are he is a good framer. Good insurance. I'm happy we are signing other catchers then Brantley.
