    Some Notes About Things

    This is probably the lamest "announcement" I've ever made - and the most embarassing. I'll spare you the boring technical details, but basically I have been missing out on a lot of ad revenue because of a mistake that was made when implementing the banner ads. To remedy this I've had to make some changes, albeit minor, to the layout of the forums.

    One great thing that I've noticed is that there is a greater variety of banner ads being rotated, and they are served faster.

    On the bad side, the new coding interfered with some of the forum coding, so I had to disable the "little blue arrows" that take you to the new/last post. As soon as this problem is fixed they will be re-implemented. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Just wanted to let those of you who use those features know why they weren't operational.

    GOOD NEWS!!!

    We finally have our blue arrows back, and they work!! As well as having properly functioning banner ads!! Woo-hoo!

    It was amazing - the amount of impressions that I received as nearly tripled since I inserted the proper code. It was worth the extra step in order to get credited what I earned with my ad company.

    PS: I understand there have been some login problems, those have been fixed as well - thanks to those of you who were kind enough to let me know that there was a problem. Actually, it was only one of you, but you deserve enough thanks for many people .

        Good job Jim, I missed the little blue arrows. I don't know if it has anything to do with you not getting proper credit or not, but at least one day last week when I popped in here, I got no ads at all. I always look for them, because I always click a couple. One day none showed up.
