    Please Answer My Question...

I have no idea where this question goes so please bare with me. After yankee Stadium dies and goes to Yankee Heaven, what will happen to the actual building. I heard a Hall of Fame Part 2, or they will move cooperstown.

Does the Hall of Fame own Yankee Stadium or does the city of New York own Yankee Stadium???

First, Yankee Stadium will never die. There'll always be fans like us who will treasure the hallowed ground and history of Baseball's Crown Jewel, and will fight with all our hearts to keep the New York Yankees in the Bronx, where they belong. The Stadium is basically rented to the Yanks until I think 2001 or 2002. Giuliani just said a coupla days ago that before he leaves office he will work hard to negotiate a new lease to keep the Yankees in the Bronx. It'll happen.

As long as I don't have to go to "Kawasaki Field" to see the Yanks, I'll be happy.

I'm honored that you think I have any clout in what happens to Yankee Stadium by asking this in the suggestions forum, but unfortunatly I'm not nearly that important.

May I be allowed to add my $.02? Don't count on them ever moving the Hall of Fame from Cooperstown to New York. Whoever told you that was dealing in some wishful thinking. The rest of the baseball world would pitch massive fits if they had to go to Yankee Stadium in order to view the Hall of Fame. Besides, it resides in Cooperstown for a reason. Just my thoughts, if Yankee Stadium were to ever be retired, I believe you would find the Yankees organization may make it into some sort of a museum or something along those lines. I just hope that doesn't happen in my liftime.
