10 years 325M for Seager...No chance Hal touches that.

Really, the parallels between what's happening in the New York baseball power dynamic now and what happened in the mid-1970s are striking, except with the franchises reversed.

Cohen is playing the role of George Steinbrenner. Hal is playing M. Donald Grant.

Brick by brick, floorboard by floorboard, Cohen is ripping the foundation out from under Hal's feet, and like Grant before him, Hal is too complacent, pompous and stupid to see it happening.
I hid in the clouded wrath of the crowd, when they said "sit down" I stood up.

Man, there are some BIG checks getting written. I wonder if the other GMs know something Brian doesn't about the CBA as it relates to previously acquired payroll. Can 100% see Brian being a day late to this party.
Q: Who’s the guy on your roster that would have been overlooked if not for analytics? Cashman: Ronald Torreyes. He’s an analytical darling.

If you were Judge, would you even want to sign a long term deal? The team clearly does not seem to want to put forth resources to win when the opportunity is right in front of them. Bargain bin shopping is not going to win you pennants when the window is closing. I would do everything in my power if I were him to have a monster year and then go somewhere that will compliment me as a player and go for it when the window is wide open in front of them.

Might as well trade him if you are not going to build around him. He should walk if this team is going into 2022 with this roster + simmons and a couple of reclamation projects.

Hope TX keeps Falefa and don't trade him to the Yankees

Pivoted on Sanchez - I guess they decided what the Yankees should already know - Sanchez is not a MLB Catcher.

He isn't a catcher but could be a good DH for the Marlins

I think teams like DH's who can hit.

Similar to Lindor. Correa must be smiling.

I think the one legged catching stance really messed up Sanchez and made him a worse catcher. It got in his head and affected his hitting. I would like to see what he can do as a DH only player over a course of a season.

He needs to go to perhaps Pittsburgh now in a low pressure situation.

The Rangers lost 102 games last year, they are not a few players away.
