I throw up a little in my mouth each time I see one of these remaining teams doing things correctly and the Yankees are sitting home with their $200+ million payroll.
I really dislike Brian Cashman at this point.
Is there a way to resurrect Stick Michael?

Any chance the quote is really...

It seems the only way for Hal to get the message is to stop going to the games. Stop watching on TV. Stop buying into the "Yankee Universe".
Maybe once the stadium is near empty, Hal will wake up and see that something is wrong, that something might needs to change.
I feel like I've been betrayed. The So\x fans are hammering down on me because of the lack of success. And there really isn't anything I can say because they're right.

The Yankees are 11 - 11 in 22 postseason games with Boone as a manager. If they bring him back I don't ever want to hear them say that winning a World Series championship is their top priority.

It's amazing that the team has played 22 post season games under Boone's tenure.

5-0 vs. The Comedy Central (Twins, Indians) is propping that record up ....

I hid in the clouded wrath of the crowd, when they said "sit down" I stood up.

Can we get the NYTimes to go through Brian Cashman's old texts/emails? There's got to be some dirt.

And Hal's too, at this point that's our only way out

I am not in any way a Boone fan at all but i do not think the problem is him. If they got someone who was like him another Yes man it would still be up to the players he is given.

Boone if he comes back needs to call out the players more after the game and not baby them and they need to change the team. Get rid of money on RP and invest in a totr #2 starter.

But the Yankees are built to put on a show for the fans and score a lot of runs and hope the pitching holds up. This works somewhat during the season but ends badly in the playoffs.

The Yankees have big money in RP that cold have went to a #2 starter. Monty is a okay #4 so is Tallion German etc and Sevy is a #3. But you need a second horse to carry the load like Boston does with EVO AND SALE and how Toronto does with Barrios and Ryu even if they lose Ray.

If they bring back the same garbage of slow running bad defense and Cole or bust nothing will change.

The Yankees were never going to give up on Boone so quickly. I mean, Girardi was 28-24 in the postseason (17-20 excluding 2009), missed the playoffs 4 times and lasted 10 years as Yankee manager. He hasn't reached toxic levels of ineptitude yet. Boone, much like Girardi is just following orders. Replacing Boone with a Boone 2.0 doesn't really accomplish anything.

I thought we would have heard something by now, although I read today the Yankees are close to a Boone decision. All the other stuff about what Hal may or may not have said, is just rumor and media fodder until something public actually gets said.
More people have walked on the moon than have scored an earned run off of Mariano Rivera in the postseason.

I guess they're working on a contract as to why we have not heard anything.

He's been very good this year for sure...when he could take the mound. Trouble is he was only healthy enough to throw 132 IPs and it's been a recurring theme for Carlos in his career.
