2021 Domingo German Performance Thread

It occurred to me that the Yankees might try to use an opener for German (and King, for that matter). Maybe Green. But now that Britton is possibly out again for some time, Green needs to be the 8th inning guy and there really is no opener option.

If only we had money. Small market blues....

Still under-performing with a 96 ERA+, 1.172 WHIP and 4.40 FIP, but an encouraging outing, despite the outcome. First good outing for a long time.
In June-July, his ERA went from 3.06 to 4.45 (4.71 before this outing).

I guess he'll start Friday or Saturday in Miami. It'll be interesting to see how he pitches.

I think he will be ok. 90 pitches is not an excessive amount.

Oh I agree. I just meant it'll be interesting to see if he can build off this last outing and follow it up with another dominating start. Consistency has been missing from this team all season.

Let me re-phrase that - they've been consistently inconsistent. lol
