I'm so jealous. I end up raging during what is supposed to be a nice walk or jog to help me with my mental state.

IDK sometimes we go around folks, other times they go around us. But almost always one of us does when we’re out walking. But seems to be about 50/50 where we are.

In my neighborhood half the people I pass are not wearing masks. Really disgusting.

Doesn't that depend on the neighborhood? I can easily go for a walk in my neighborhood, and only run into a few other people, who can be easily distanced. In that environment, a mask shouldn't be necessary. My neighborhood grocery store, or a busy Manhattan street, are different environments, and it's far more appropriate to have a mask on.

IIRC, the original recommendations were to wear masks whenever social distancing is impossible. In NY, though, we’re required to wear masks anytime we’re outside. That’s fine with me. The less we ask people to use their own individual judgment - to engage in some critical thinking beyond "I wanna" - the better off we are.

Almost no one is wear a mask on walks by us. But it’s not so crowed you can’t stay 6 feet apart.

Now if you are talking about stores, masks are required and over seen 100% compliance so far.

Same in my neighborhood in stores. I keep the 6 foot distance but it does get hard sometimes. Easier if everyone wore some type of mask on the street.

That could also be a large state thing, since California is also high on the list of affected residents.

Each of NY Gov Cuomo, NYC Mayor de Blasio and NJ Gov Murphy have their daily press conferences.

Most of the pharmacies, convenience stores, even the deli have face masks, gloves and hand sanitizers. The masks usually start at $2 each.

UK rail worker dies of COVID-19 after being spit on by a man who said he had the virus.

(CNN)A British railway ticket office worker has died from Covid-19 after being spat on while she was working at Victoria station in central London.

Belly Mujinga, 47, was working with a colleague when a member of the public assaulted them, spat and coughed over them and said he had the novel coronavirus, said her union, the Transport Salaried Staffs Association (TSSA), in a statement Tuesday.

Mujinga, who had an underlying health condition, was working for Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) on the station concourse at the time of the incident on March 22.

I really liked the numbers for the Northeast yesterday. NY, NJ, and MA all significant drops in new cases.

                          https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/

Has anyone found a site that charts active cases by state? The NY Times does a good job with its charts, but I'm wondering at what point the cases that are resolved by two consecutive negative tests outweighs the number of new cases.

Four Kroger employees have died of Covid, so naturally the company has rolled back its extra $2/hr for employees and replaced it with a $340,000 “Thank You” commercial on Fox News.

Oh, earlier this year, Kroger bought back $355M of its own stock. And monthly sales are up 30% over last year.
