HOF induction ceremonies moved to September 8th this year. Which happens to be on Jewish New Year's. Marvin Miller who is Jewish to be inducted this year. Another great job by Manfred.

Not sure if this has been posted anywhere before yet, but apparently the recent anti-ball-doctoring enforcement is working:

To summarize:
- Spin rates are down something like ~5%, more like 10% for some pitchers
- Strikeouts are down slightly
- Walks are up very slightly
- OBP is up slightly
- HBP have not increased, which makes sense. The "HBP will go through the roof because pitchers can't control anything without superglue" argument was always kind of a boogeyman that people used to justify minor cheating
This sounds like a good start to me.

MLB announces that tonight’s Phillies-Nationals game at Citizens Bank Park has been postponed to allow for continued testing and contact tracing involving members of the Nats organization. The game will be made up as part of a straight doubleheader Thursday starting at 12:05pm.
